Boston Summer Rentals?

Hey Guys,





I was just wondering whether you would be able to suggest some websites. I am planning on heading to Boston for the summer (June, July and half of August), I am coming from Europe and need summer accommodation. I have around $800 to spend each month on rent.





I have tried craigslist but most of the renters want to meet you in person before hand. However In my case this is an issue as I would be unable to fly to the states!!!!





Does anyone know any good websites in which an agency can arrange accommodation??

Cape Cod Summer Rentals?

How hard is it to find a job and rent an apartment in Cape Cod for the summer? Are there any good websites? Any help would be appreciated!Cape Cod Summer Rentals?
Jobs are REALLY scarce everywhere now a days but the summer time is the best time to try. There are plenty of shops and restaurants in the cape that may hire but people fight for those jobs and most hang on to them. Also the Cape is EXTREMELY expensive living. You'll probably be able to find people to room with but I suggest you start searching now.


Check out local newspapers...they have websites too and check job search engines for that area.


Maybe Craigslist.....you'll have to reserve early for a rental...this is a popular area for tourists and 'snow birds' (people who live south for winter and north for summer)

You don't need licenses and permits to have a wedding at home. However, if you are having a large number of people I suggest you discuss it with the owner of the house first in case any damage is done by a guest.

Is your Mom still around? Maybe she still knows the directions on how to get there. Without knowing the owners name from that time, it's going to be hard to trace it. If it was a private cabin, why would it have a name? I would contact the Saugatuck chamber of commerce to see if they can help you. Maybe contact the county offices there to try to locate it. But I think you are still going to have an address or name to do those things.

There's no summer homes on Lake Michigan, we have condos on Michigan Ave. I'm not sure as far as the renting processes go, but the internet is the key to everything, look into it if you're serious.

Web sites are a good place to find an apartment or house to rent, if you want to go through the entire list to find one in your state and then city.





The best place to look for places to rent is to go to the yellow pages of your telephone book, look under property managers.





These individuals list properties for rent in certain areas, so make sure you select the areas in which you wish to rent.





Call several of the property managers listed there, tell them you want a list of properties that they have for rent. Some will fax, email or mail the list of local places to rent along with the address, number of bedrooms and bath rooms, amenities available, such as washer and dryers or gyms, the monthly rental of the unit. Most will include a rental application. These list will include the monthly rental required, if a lease or month to month agreement will be signed. They will also indicate if they will accept Section 8 vouchers.





They might indicate a web site that you might visit to get their list of places to rent. It does not cost to get a rental list from a reputable property manager.

I need it for under 1000 dollars. It's going to be me and 5 other responsible young adults, yet we can't go through a realtor since most require you to be 23.Can anyone find me a summer rental on the Jersey Shore for 21 year olds and under?
Probably not gonna happen unless your mom or dad do it for you.





I'm from the Jersey shore. Any landlord who's lived there for more than 6 months (and believe me, most landlords are old time shore residents) have been burned by younger renters who party, trash the place, and then don't pay for it. Younger renters have no savings, or anything to take in a lawsuit so it's not even worth it to go after them.





I know you might be responsible. But me and my friends, who were 20 year local residents couldn't get a place to live (year round or summer) even though my family has been in Cape May since 1650. Too many 21 year olds have come and wrecked things for everyone.





Unless you're rich, no local realtor is going to talk to you. Locals can't even get them to help buy/sell a house; everyone wants to deal with the million dollar clients who come an buy condos.





1000 per month? I haven't seen anything that cheap since the 80's. Most beach rentals (like Wildwood, Seaside Heights, Beach Haven) are about $2500/ month, for a cheap place (like, 2 bedrooms and a pullout, ina little beach house built in the 30's).





If you're heading all the way south, you can try the rooming houses in Wildwood...they are usually a bedroom, and a shared bathroom on each floor. That's where all the Irish and Russian kids who come to work stay, and it's cheaper.
